Come hear the music play at the Kit Kat Club. A new Cabaret cast will take over in West End performances from 29 May.
Maude Apatow will make her West End debut as Sally Bowles. The Euphoria actress currently plays Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors in New York. She also appears in Hollywood and Girls.
Mason Alexander Park takes over as the Emcee. They’ve previously starred in a US national tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, as well as Netflix series such as The Sandman, and Cowboy Bebop.
“I am so thrilled to be joining this remarkable production playing a role that has changed my life continuously over the years, in a show that is unfortunately more timely than ever. To sing these songs and tell this story as a trans person in a time in which many of the themes of the show are slowly reentering the public consciousness, with politicians targeting my community and the communities at the center of this piece is a harrowing, exciting, and necessary challenge that I am so looking forward to taking on,” said Park.
Set in early 1930s Berlin, Cabaret centers around the Kit Kat Club, notably American writer Cliff Bradshaw and singer Sally Bowles. The Kander and Ebb musical includes songs such as "Mein Herr," "Maybe This Time," and "Money."
Rebecca Frecknall directs Cabaret. The show includes scenic and costume design by Tom Scutt, choreography by Julia Cheng, lighting design by Isabella Byrd and sound design by Nick Lidster.
Cabaret is at the Kit Kat Club.
